(٧٠)IS ALLAH (S.W) ONE OR THREE?revived.” (Kings (1) 17/20-22) Therefore, Joshua the son of sirachtold him, “Who didst raise up a dead man from death” (sirach48\5).Elijah (PBUH) - with Allah’s (S.W) will - also raised two dead people. He raised one of them during his life and the other after his death. Hegave life to the Israelite woman’s son, who came to him. (Kings (2)4/32-36)Not only did Elijah (PBUH) raise a dead man while he was alive, butalso his bones, after his death, gave life to another dead man. Therelatives of that dead man put him inside Elijah’s grave. He returnedto life after touching Elijah’s bones, and he stood up. “And as aman was being buried, behold, a marauding band was seenand the man was thrown into the grave of Elisha, and assoon as the man touched the bones of Elisha, he revivedand stood on his feet.” (Kings (2) 13/21)I wonder how Christians could use Jesus’ (PBUH) miracles –especially raising the dead - as proof of his divinity, even though theybelieved that the disciples had done the same.In the Book of Acts, we read that Peter gave life to Tabitha after shehad died and was washed by her family. “Now there was inJoppa a disciple named Tabitha, which, translated, meansDorcas. In those days she became ill and died, and whenthey had washed her, they laid her in an upper room. ButPeter put them all outside, and knelt down and prayed; andturning to the body he said, "Tabitha, arise." And sheopened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.”(Acts9/36-41)I wonder, what is the difference between Jesus’ (PBUH) and Peter’smiracles? Both miracles were by Allah’s (S.W) will and aid.According to the Holy Bible, all disciples were capable of giving life tothe dead. Jesus (PBUH) said, “And proclaims as you go, saying,'The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, raise thedead, and cleanse lepers, cast out demons.” (Matthew 10/7-8)so, are all of them gods?Christians who speak of Jesus’ (PBUH) divinity ignore the passagesthat speak of his death, and his being unable to escape it.
