All what he had weregifts from Allah (S.W). If he was God, h<strong>is</strong> miracles would come fromh<strong>is</strong> divine nature, and need no <strong>one</strong> to help <strong>or</strong> give them to him.In addition, the same auth<strong>or</strong>ity was given to the devil without beingGod, he said to Jesus (PBUH), trying to m<strong>is</strong>lead him of the earth’sproperty. “To you I will give all th<strong>is</strong> auth<strong>or</strong>ity and their gl<strong>or</strong>y,f<strong>or</strong> it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will.”(Luke 4/6).Jesus (PBUH) declared also that he was helpless without Allah’s(S.W) help and aid. He said, “I can do nothing on my own.”(John 5/30), and these miracles were Allah’s (S.W) gifts, which proveh<strong>is</strong> prophethood only. “F<strong>or</strong> the w<strong>or</strong>ks that the Father has givenme to accompl<strong>is</strong>h, the very w<strong>or</strong>ks that I am doing bearwitness about me that the Father has sent me.” (John 5/36).Furtherm<strong>or</strong>e, those who witnessed Jesus’ (PBUH) miracles knewthat what he was perf<strong>or</strong>ming were miracles, which Allah (S.W) gaveto h<strong>is</strong> messengers. No <strong>one</strong> understood that those miracles wereevidence of h<strong>is</strong> divinity. When the boy recovered from the uncleanspirit, every<strong>one</strong> was aston<strong>is</strong>hed by the greatness of Allah (S.W).“And all were aston<strong>is</strong>hed at the majesty of God.” (Luke 9/43)M<strong>or</strong>eover, when he cured the hunchback woman, she stood straightand pra<strong>is</strong>ed Allah (S.W). “And immediately she was madestraight, and she gl<strong>or</strong>ified God.” (Luke 13/13)When the crowd saw Jesus (PBUH) curing the paralytic, they wereaston<strong>is</strong>hed, and pra<strong>is</strong>ed Allah (S.W) who gave man such power.
