We believe in Fayo, the spirit who proceeded from theFather and the son, who <strong>is</strong> the father, and the son gl<strong>or</strong>ifies andkneels to him.”The Encyclopedia Britannica mentions that, “the concept of theTrinity <strong>is</strong> of Greek <strong>or</strong>igin, with Jew<strong>is</strong>h input and <strong>is</strong> a strange mixturemade by Chr<strong>is</strong>tians, because the religious concepts are taken fromthe Holy Bible, but they are filled with f<strong>or</strong>eign philosophies.The concepts (The father, the son, and the Holy Spirit) come fromthe Jews, and the last concept (The Holy Spirit) was rarely used byJesus.Leon Joteh says, “Chr<strong>is</strong>tianity abs<strong>or</strong>bed many ideas and conceptsfrom Greek philosophy. Chr<strong>is</strong>tian theology <strong>is</strong> taken from the samesource, which <strong>is</strong> Platon<strong>is</strong>m, and that <strong>is</strong> why we find many similaritiesbetween them”.Greek philosophy spread through Alexandria, where Plato theAlexandrian was (207C.E). He believed in the treble (God, mind,spirit). Thus, the Alexandrian saints were the first to believe in theTrinity and defend it.Will Durant and others said, that pagan<strong>is</strong>m spread through Rome.Will Durant also said, “When Chr<strong>is</strong>tianity conquered Rome, the newreligion was influenced by the old pagan rituals, such as the titles,the great cardinal, and the w<strong>or</strong>shipping of the great mother.”In h<strong>is</strong> book “Chr<strong>is</strong>tian Pagan<strong>is</strong>m”, Robertson supp<strong>or</strong>ts th<strong>is</strong> idea; hebelieves that those beliefs arrived in Rome, brought by the Persians,in the year 70 B.C.E.Others believe that those beliefs spread by the ancient Pharaohsideology passed to Chr<strong>is</strong>tianity because of their close proximity.
