(١٢٥)IS ALLAH (S.W) ONE OR THREE?THE ORIGIN OF THE CONCEPT OF JESUS’DIVINITYChr<strong>is</strong>tian beliefs were completed in the f<strong>or</strong>th century, after deifyingJesus (PBUH) and the Holy Spirit, and confirming the Holy Bible.Paul establ<strong>is</strong>hed a new Chr<strong>is</strong>tianity after Jesus (PBUH), so where didPaul and the later Church Councils, derive these new beliefs?To an<strong>sw</strong>er that question we quote what Charles Gene Pier said in h<strong>is</strong>book “Chr<strong>is</strong>tianity, its Beginning and its Development”, he said,“Detailed study of Paul’s longer Ep<strong>is</strong>tles, results in finding a mixtureof strange ideas, both Jew<strong>is</strong>h and idolatrous Greek concepts.To explain and illustrate further, we review some of the old religionsbef<strong>or</strong>e Chr<strong>is</strong>tianity, to show the similarity between ancient Pagan<strong>is</strong>mand Chr<strong>is</strong>tian Pagan<strong>is</strong>m. Th<strong>is</strong> similarity has touched the bas<strong>is</strong> andthe branches of Chr<strong>is</strong>tian creeds, so we could know the <strong>or</strong>igin andthe source, from which Chr<strong>is</strong>tianity takes its beliefs and creeds.First: God’s Incarnation in Ancient Pagan ReligionsBelieving in an incarnated God, the second divine hypostas<strong>is</strong> of God,incarnated to f<strong>or</strong>give people’s sins, <strong>is</strong> an old and known belief inancient religions, such as Hindu<strong>is</strong>m. In h<strong>is</strong> book “India”, the h<strong>is</strong>t<strong>or</strong>ianAllen said, “Kr<strong>is</strong>hna <strong>is</strong> the greatest of all the incarnated gods, andmuch superi<strong>or</strong> to them, f<strong>or</strong> they were only partly divine, but He(Kr<strong>is</strong>hna) appeared as god in a human figure.Menti<strong>one</strong>d in the Indian book “Baha Kavat B<strong>or</strong>on”, Kr<strong>is</strong>hna said, “Iwill incarnate in Yedwa house, and come out from Devaki womb, Iwill be b<strong>or</strong>n and die, the time has come to show my power, andrelieve the earth of its burden”. Theref<strong>or</strong>e, the Hindus considered hima divine incarnation that made him w<strong>or</strong>thy of w<strong>or</strong>ship.The prominent h<strong>is</strong>t<strong>or</strong>ian Dwain talked about Buddha in h<strong>is</strong> book “TheMyths of the T<strong>or</strong>ah, the Gospel, and Their Similarity in OtherReligions”. He said, “Buddha was b<strong>or</strong>n of the virgin Maya, whom theBuddh<strong>is</strong>ts in India and other countries w<strong>or</strong>ship. They say about him,“He left the heaven and descended to appear as a human figure, asmercy to people to save them from their sins and to guide them”.
