That means He is theOne and Only God, and no one – including Jesus (PBUH) -shares that with Him.- In the Book of Isaiah, we read, “Before me no god wasformed, nor shall there be any after me. I, I am theLORD, and besides me there is no savior. I declaredand saved.” (Isaiah 43:10 -12)- “So now, O LORD our God, save us from his hand,that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that youalone are the LORD.” (Isaiah 37:20)- "I am the LORD, who made all things, who alonestretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth bymyself.” (Isaiah 44:24) this is totally contrary to the concept ofthe Trinity.- “I am the LORD, and there is no other, besides methere is no God” (Isaiah 45:5)- In Isaiah’s prophecy, we read, “Thus says the LORD, theKing of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: "Iam the first and I am the last; besides me there is nogod. Who is like me? Let him proclaim it. Let himdeclare and set it before me…. Is there a God besidesme? There is no Rock; I know not any.” (Isaiah 44:6 - 8)- There are many other passages in the Old Testament. (Malachi2:10, Kings 1 8:27, …)
