(٧٩)IS ALLAH (S.W) ONE OR THREE?John the Bapt<strong>is</strong>t baptized Jesus (PBUT) in the River J<strong>or</strong>dan. “ThenJesus came from Galilee to the J<strong>or</strong>dan to John, to bebaptized by him” (Matt. 3:13). Did the Bapt<strong>is</strong>t not know that hewas baptizing Allah (S.W)? Bapt<strong>is</strong>m <strong>is</strong> f<strong>or</strong> repentance and thecleaning of sins, as menti<strong>one</strong>d in Matthew. “And they werebaptized by him in the river J<strong>or</strong>dan, confessing their sins. Ibaptize you with water f<strong>or</strong> repentance. Then Jesus camefrom Galilee to the J<strong>or</strong>dan to John, to be baptized by him.”(Matt. 3:6-13). Was Allah (S.W) a sinner looking f<strong>or</strong> some<strong>one</strong> tof<strong>or</strong>give him?Furtherm<strong>or</strong>e, Jesus (PBUH) did what any human needs to do. Heslept, “he was asleep” (Matt. 8:24) he felt tired as every humandoes, “so Jesus, wearied as he was from h<strong>is</strong> journey” (John4:6) he needed a donkey to ride; theref<strong>or</strong>e, he sent h<strong>is</strong> d<strong>is</strong>ciples tobring it. “The L<strong>or</strong>d has need of it” (Mark 11:3)He (PBUH) also felt upset and depressed, “And began to begreatly d<strong>is</strong>tressed and troubled” (Mark 14:33) and sometimes,he felt upset and s<strong>or</strong>rowful. “He began to be s<strong>or</strong>rowful andtroubled.” (Matt.26:37)Crying <strong>is</strong> the habit of human beings when they face difficulty andsadness, and such was what Jesus (PBUH) did. “Jesus wept.”(John 11:35)The devil tried to seduce him, but could not. He took Jesus (PBUH)to a high mountain, and showed him the whole w<strong>or</strong>ld and said to him,“To you I will give all th<strong>is</strong> auth<strong>or</strong>ity and their gl<strong>or</strong>y, f<strong>or</strong> ithas been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will. Ifyou, then, will w<strong>or</strong>ship me, it will all be yours. And Jesusan<strong>sw</strong>ered him, "It <strong>is</strong> written, "'You shall w<strong>or</strong>ship the L<strong>or</strong>dyour God, and him only shall you serve.” (Luke 4:6-8)People beat and scolded him, “When he had said these things,<strong>one</strong> of the officers standing by struck Jesus with h<strong>is</strong> hand,saying, "Is that how you an<strong>sw</strong>er the high priest?” (John18:22) but he could not defend himself except by w<strong>or</strong>ds, because hewas bound. “So the band of soldiers and their captain andthe officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound him.”(John 18:12).He felt hungry, he was looking f<strong>or</strong> some food, “In the m<strong>or</strong>ning, ashe was returning to the city, he became hungry” (Matt. 21:18)and he was thirsty. “Said, "I thirst.” (John 19:28) Then he ate and
