(١٠٤)IS ALLAH (S.W) ONE OR THREE?Egypt!” They have made for themselves a golden calf andhave worshiped it and sacrificed to it and said, 'These areyour gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land ofEgypt!” (Exodus 32/4-8)This chapter continues to reassure us that using the plural meansone. “So Moses returned to the LORD and said, "Alas, thispeople have sinned a great sin. They have made forthemselves gods of gold.” (Exodus 32/31)Simlarly, we find this plurality in the Holy Quran, as Allah (S.W) says,“We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and Wewill assuredly guard it (from corruption).” (Holy Quran 15: 9).“We” refers to the One and Only, Allah (S.W).Repeating words three times, as the angels and the animals, whichJohn saw, cannot be evidence in any way. If we continue to usethem as evidence, we will find many gods. The Holy Bible mentions the word, (holy) three times twice; it alsomentions it forty times as one word. This repetition is for reassuranceonly, as in many passages of the Gospels and the Torah. 1In one of these passages, the Jews say: “but they kept shouting,"Crucify, crucify him!” (Luke 23/21). The same also happenedwhen Jesus (PBUH) asked Peter, he repeated it three times: “Whenthey had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter,"Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?" Hesaid to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you…He saidto him a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you loveme?"…. He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John,do you love me?" Peter was grieved because he said to himthe third time, "Do you love me?" (John 21/15-17).The Gospels’ Passages and the TrinityChristians believe there is much evidence of the Trinity in the NewTestament, which is much clearer than that mentioned in the Torah. They present passages such as: “And when Jesus wasbaptized, immediately he went up from the water, and1 - (Jeremiah 7:4, 22:29) ( Ezekiel 21:27)
