(٥)IS ALLAH (S.W) ONE OR THREE?tidings of a W<strong>or</strong>d from Him: h<strong>is</strong> name will be Chr<strong>is</strong>t Jesus,the son of Mary, held in hon<strong>or</strong> in th<strong>is</strong> w<strong>or</strong>ld and theHereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah.(Holy Quran, 3: 45)The verses declare that Allah (S.W) created th<strong>is</strong> coming child, Jesus(PBUH), by a w<strong>or</strong>d from Him, without any human intervention. Hecreated him with no father, and that would not make him divine, asAllah (S.W) also created Adam in an unusual way. “The similitudeof Jesus bef<strong>or</strong>e Allah <strong>is</strong> as that of Adam; He created himfrom dust, and then said to him: "Be". And he was. (HolyQuran, 3: 59) Allah (S.W) created Both, Jesus and Adam (PBUT) bythe w<strong>or</strong>d “Be”.The Holy Quran also mentions the birth of th<strong>is</strong> holy child and it wa<strong>sw</strong>ithout a father, being h<strong>is</strong> first miracle (PBUH). “And We made theson of Mary and h<strong>is</strong> mother as a Sign” (Holy Quran, 23: 50)then Allah (S.W) Made him speak while he was still in h<strong>is</strong> cradle, t<strong>or</strong>efute the Jews’ wicked accusation to h<strong>is</strong> mother, the pure virgin.“They said: "How can we talk to <strong>one</strong> who <strong>is</strong> a child in thecradle?" He said, I am indeed a servant of Allah. He hathgiven me revelation and made me a prophet, and He hathmade me blessed wherever I be, and hath enjoined on meprayer and charity as long as I live. (He) hath made me kindto my mother, and not overbearing <strong>or</strong> m<strong>is</strong>erable, so peace<strong>is</strong> on me the day I was b<strong>or</strong>n, the day that I die, and the daythat I shall be ra<strong>is</strong>ed up to life (again)"(Holy Quran, 19: 28 -33)"He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity.And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous." (HolyQuran, 3: 46)When he (PBUH) grew up as a man, Allah (S.W) sent him as he sentmany prophets bef<strong>or</strong>e him. “And in their footsteps we sentJesus the son of Mary”. (Holy Quran, 5: 46)H<strong>is</strong> message was to complete the message of Moses (PBUH). “'(Ihave come to you), to attest the Law which was bef<strong>or</strong>e me.And to make lawful to you part of what was (bef<strong>or</strong>e)f<strong>or</strong>bidden to you” (Holy Quran, 3: 50), theref<strong>or</strong>e, Allah (S.W) hadgiven him the knowledge of the T<strong>or</strong>ah, “Behold! I taught thee theBook and W<strong>is</strong>dom, the Law and the Gospel” (Holy Quran, 5:
