(٦)IS ALLAH (S.W) ONE OR THREE?110) and He revealed the Gospel to him (PBUH). “We sent himthe Gospel: therein was guidance and light” (Holy Quran, 5:46)Allah (S.W) had supp<strong>or</strong>ted Jesus (PBUH) with miracles, and hadgiven him many signs, that were enough to convince h<strong>is</strong> people tobelieve in him. “Behold! thou makes out of clay, as it were, thefigure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathes into it and itbecomes a bird by My leave, and thou heals those b<strong>or</strong>nblind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringsf<strong>or</strong>th the dead by My leave.” (Holy Quran, 5: 110)M<strong>or</strong>eover, as a supp<strong>or</strong>t, Allah (S.W) gave him the knowledge of theunseen, “I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye st<strong>or</strong>e inyour houses. Surely therein <strong>is</strong> a Sign f<strong>or</strong> you if ye didbelieve” (Holy Quran, 3: 49) and supp<strong>or</strong>ted him with the Holy Spirit,Gabriel (PBUH). “We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs)and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit.” (Holy Quran, 2:87)The Holy Quran illustrates that Jesus’ (PBUH) message was f<strong>or</strong> theChildren of Israel only, "And (appoint him) an apostle to theChildren of Israel, (with th<strong>is</strong> message): " (Holy Quran, 3: 49)and he delivered that message to them. “And remember, Jesus,the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am theapostle of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (whichcame) bef<strong>or</strong>e me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger tocome after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.” (Holy Quran,61: 6)The Holy Quran declares Allah’s (S.W) warning of committingexcesses <strong>or</strong> exaggerating Jesus (PBUH). “O People of the Book!Commit no excesses in your religion: N<strong>or</strong> say of Allah aughtbut the truth. Chr<strong>is</strong>t Jesus the son of Mary was (no m<strong>or</strong>ethan) an apostle of Allah, and H<strong>is</strong> W<strong>or</strong>d, which Hebestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him” (HolyQuran, 4: 171) and th<strong>is</strong> <strong>is</strong> h<strong>is</strong> true nature and identity “Such (was)Jesus the son of Mary: (it <strong>is</strong>) a statement of truth, aboutwhich they (vainly) d<strong>is</strong>pute. It <strong>is</strong> not befitting to (themajesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Gl<strong>or</strong>y be toHim! when He determines a matter, He only says to it,"Be", and it <strong>is</strong>.” (Holy Quran, 19: 34-35), f<strong>or</strong> Allah (S.W) Createdhim by H<strong>is</strong> w<strong>or</strong>d (Be), God does not need to have a son, Jesus <strong>or</strong>any other.
