(٦٣)IS ALLAH (S.W) ONE OR THREE?6- JESUS’ MIRACLES AS EVIDENCE OF HISDIVINITYThe Gospels mention thirty-five miracles, which Jesus (PBUH)perf<strong>or</strong>med, and Chr<strong>is</strong>tians take these miracles as proof of h<strong>is</strong> divinity.These miracles are, h<strong>is</strong> birth without a father, giving life to the dead,curing the sick and telling the unseen.Miracles are Divine GiftsThe Quran mentions and confirms Jesus’ (PBUH) great miracles,and affirms that he did these miracles by the will and the help ofAllah (S.W). “And (appoint him) an apostle to the Children ofIsrael. (with th<strong>is</strong> message), "'I have come to you, with aSign from your L<strong>or</strong>d, in that I make f<strong>or</strong> you out of clay, as itwere, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and itbecomes a bird by God's leave, And I heal those b<strong>or</strong>n blind,and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by God's leave; and Ideclare to you what ye eat, and what ye st<strong>or</strong>e in yourhouses.” (Holy Quran 3: 49)The Gospels’ passages confirmed th<strong>is</strong>, and rep<strong>or</strong>ted about Jesus(PBUH), as when he perf<strong>or</strong>med h<strong>is</strong> miracles he declared that theywere from Allah (S.W), he did not attribute them to himself. Jesus(PBUH) said, “It <strong>is</strong> by the Spirit of God that I cast outdemons.” (Matthew 12/28)He also said, “It <strong>is</strong> by the finger of God that I cast outdemons.” (Luke 11/ 20).When he (PBUH) came to give life to Lazarus, “And Jesus liftedup h<strong>is</strong> eyes and said, "Father, I thank you that you haveheard me I knew that you always hear me, but I said th<strong>is</strong> onaccount of the people standing around, that they maybelieve that you sent me.” (John 11/40-41). He thanked Allah(S.W) f<strong>or</strong> H<strong>is</strong> acceptance of h<strong>is</strong> prayer, and supplication when hera<strong>is</strong>ed h<strong>is</strong> eyes to Allah (S.W), then God responded to him and gavelife to Lazarus.He also prayed to Allah (S.W) to help him when he wanted to feedthe crowd with the five loaves and two f<strong>is</strong>h. “And taking the five
