(١١٢)IS ALLAH (S.W) ONE OR THREE?A CRITICAL EXAMINATION OF THE TRINITYIf we cannot find any evidence supporting the Trinity, is there anyevidence in the Holy Bible supporting the contrary, which isMonotheism?One who studies the Holy Bible will find that the Trinity is a strangeconcept, and that the Holy Bible is full of obvious facts declaringmonotheism in Christianity. There are many passages in the HolyBible, which clearly declare that Monotheism was the belief of Jesus(PBUH), his disciples, and all the prophets (PBUT) before him.First: Monotheistic Passages in the Old TestamentMonotheism is obvious in the Old Testament. Prophets (PBUT)spoke of it and remind us many times about it, and the passagesstrongly reassure this belief. Some of these passages are thefollowing:- What we find in the Book of Deuteronomy about Moses’(PBUH) commandments, which Allah (S.W) wrote on twostones and ordered the Children of Israel to keep, and Jesus(PBUH) after him confirmed them. "Hear, O Israel: TheLORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love theLORD your God with all your heart and with all yoursoul and with all your might. And these words that Icommand you today shall be on your heart. You shallteach them diligently to your children, and shall talkof them when you sit in your house, and when youwalk by the way, and when you lie down, and whenyou rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand,and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. Youshall write them on the doorposts of your house andon your gates.” (Deut. 6:4-9)- "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of theland of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
