(٨٧)IS ALLAH (S.W) ONE OR THREE?(PBUH) as divine <strong>or</strong> God, creates many questions, which will remainwithout an<strong>sw</strong>ers.Finally, not only h<strong>is</strong> contemp<strong>or</strong>aries said that he was human, but alsothe previous prophecies, which Chr<strong>is</strong>tians believe, affirm the same.They said that he (PBUH) has fulfilled these prophecies, but as weall know, these prophecies did not f<strong>or</strong>etell about a coming God, butabout a noble righteous prophet.Fourth Categ<strong>or</strong>yThese are verses and passages, which declare Jesus’ (PBUH)prophethood, and that <strong>is</strong> m<strong>or</strong>e proof against h<strong>is</strong> divinity.Jesus’ (PBUH) contemp<strong>or</strong>aries professed of h<strong>is</strong> prophethood andmessage, which are human character<strong>is</strong>tics and not Allah’s (S.W). Inthe Book of John, we read, “You call me Teacher and L<strong>or</strong>d, andyou are right, f<strong>or</strong> so I am.” (John 13:13). In th<strong>is</strong>, Jesus (PBUH)accepted and confirmed their belief as they called him l<strong>or</strong>d andmaster. It was common during h<strong>is</strong> time to call him such, “And hesaid to him, Teacher” (Mark 10:20). Was it m<strong>or</strong>al not to call him“God” and use th<strong>is</strong> humble title “Master” instead?Jesus (PBUH) started h<strong>is</strong> m<strong>is</strong>sion as a prophet when he was thirty,“Jesus, when he began h<strong>is</strong> min<strong>is</strong>try, was about thirty yearsof age” (Luke 3:23) and there was a time that the Holy Spirit had notbeen given to him. “F<strong>or</strong> as yet the Spirit had not been given,because Jesus was not yet gl<strong>or</strong>ified.” (John 7:39)In addition, Jesus (PBUH) himself confessed that h<strong>is</strong> God <strong>is</strong> <strong>one</strong> andthat he <strong>is</strong> just a messenger. “You, the only true God, and JesusChr<strong>is</strong>t whom you have sent.” (John 17:3). Similarly, he said,“And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, "Aprophet <strong>is</strong> not without hon<strong>or</strong> except in h<strong>is</strong> hometown andin h<strong>is</strong> own household.” (Matt. 13:57). He considered himself likethe rest of the prophets, whom are not hon<strong>or</strong>ed among their people.When the Phar<strong>is</strong>ees threatened Jesus (PBUH) with Herod, heconfirmed, once again, that he <strong>is</strong> just a prophet. He said, “I must goon my way today and tom<strong>or</strong>row and the day following, f<strong>or</strong> itJerusalem. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills theprophets and st<strong>one</strong>s those who are sent to it.” (Luke 13:33-34) He confessed h<strong>is</strong> prophethood and he was afraid of murder, like
