They confirmed what the first book menti<strong>one</strong>d - they said“The possibility of a human becoming God <strong>is</strong> unlikely andunbelievable nowadays.” 1In April 1984 C.E, London’s Weekend Telev<strong>is</strong>ion had an interviewwith B<strong>is</strong>hop David Jenkins, who holds the fourth position amongthirty-nine b<strong>is</strong>hops, which are the top of the Anglican Church. Hementi<strong>one</strong>d that, “Jesus’ divinity <strong>is</strong> not a definite fact, and that he doesnot believe that the virgin birth and Jesus’ resurrection are h<strong>is</strong>t<strong>or</strong>icalevents.” (Meaning they are untrue).H<strong>is</strong> w<strong>or</strong>ds had a huge effect on those who follow the ProtestantChurch. The Daily-News newspaper gave a questionnaire to thirty<strong>one</strong>b<strong>is</strong>hops, out of the thirty-nine, about what Jenkins has said.They publ<strong>is</strong>hed the result of that questionnaire on 25/6/1984 C.E,and it was as follows:“11 b<strong>is</strong>hops ins<strong>is</strong>ted that Chr<strong>is</strong>tians must consider Jesus both Godand human. While 19 said that, “it <strong>is</strong> enough to consider Jesus asGod’s high representative”.
