About the AuthorAn astrophysicist by training and a computer scientist by profession, Dr. Jacques Vallee was born inFrance, moved to the United States in 1962, and now lives in California with his wife and twochildren.After recieving the Jules Verne prize at age nineteen for his first novel, Vallee published twelveother books, most of them in English.
