Consider<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> magnitude <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Eurocrisis and Portugal’s<br />
flounder<strong>in</strong>g economy, it is not surpris<strong>in</strong>g that <strong>the</strong> topic <strong>of</strong><br />
potential causes <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> economic downturn were widely<br />
discussed <strong>in</strong> Portugal’s domestic media.<br />
- While some report<strong>in</strong>g focused on expla<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> difficulties<br />
and challenges fac<strong>in</strong>g EU leaders, 12 o<strong>the</strong>rs <strong>in</strong>dicated<br />
