BP²I providesIT Infrastructure Management Services for BNP Paribas SA and severalBNP Paribas subsidiaries in France (including BNP Paribas PersonalFinance, BP2S, and BNP Paribas Cardif), Switzerland, and Italy. Inmid-December 2011 BNP Paribas renewed its agreement with IBMFrance for a period lasting until end-2017. At the end of 2012, the partiesentered into an agreement to gradually extend this arrangement toBNP Paribas Fortis as from 2013.BP²I is 50/50-owned by BNP Paribas and IBM France; IBM France isresponsible for daily operations, with a strong commitment of BNP Paribasas a significant shareholder. Half of BP²I’s staff are BNP Paribas employeesand BNP Paribas owns the offices and data processing centres usedby BP²I. BP²I’s corporate governance system provides BNP Paribas witha contractual right of oversight and BNP Paribas may insource BP²I ifnecessary.ISFS, a fully-owned IBM subsidiary, handles IT Infrastructure Managementfor BNP Paribas Luxembourg.BancWest’s data processing operations are outsourced to FidelityInformation Services.
