Chapter 2 Basic System Operations<br />
Many maintenance procedures for the <strong>LTQ</strong> <strong>Orbitrap</strong> <strong>XL</strong> system require<br />
that the MS detector be shut down. In addition, the <strong>LTQ</strong> <strong>Orbitrap</strong> <strong>XL</strong><br />
system can be placed in Standby condition if the system is not to be used<br />
for 12 h or more.<br />
