Religion and beliefAt a Glance… there is a relatively higher proportion of Muslims in Newham and Tower Hamletsand a higher proportion of Hindus in Newham compared to London as a wholeAs the below chart demonstrates, there is a relatively higher proportion of Muslims inNewham and Tower Hamlets and a higher proportion of Hindus in Newham compared toLondon as a whole. There is a relatively lower proportion of people with ‘no religion at all’across all three boroughs. The proportion of people with particular religions in WalthamForest is broadly in keeping with the London average.
