Yet there is a risk that knowledgetransfer around other cross-cutting themessuch as equality, human rights, andcommunity engagement will not beprioritised. This report helps to baseline existinginformation in the field of equality andhuman rights in the Trust, but it is byno means exhaustive. It will beimportant for the merged Trust toconsider how knowledge transfer isensured around cross-cutting themeslike equality and human rights.Implications for Trust’sability to meet general andspecific duties goingforward (e.g. Trust needs toknow where specificinformation is kept relatingto equality is kept. It alsoneeds to access informationabout impact of previousapproaches to progressequality and human rights inthe past across the threeTrusts).None identifiedAll Trusts currently do not collect informationin relation to gender reassignment andpregnancy and maternity. There areparticular sensitivities involved in collectinginformation on trans-status which is notclearly acknowledged by all Trusts (neitherare there clear plans for how the Trusts willdemonstrate their ability to support transstaff). Also, there are some differences inthe level of information Trusts collect andanalyse in relation to other protectedcharacteristics (see section II).The Trust will need tocollect employeeinformation on all protectedcharacteristics in the futureto comply.202
