Appendix B provides more detail on the dates involved.<strong>Barts</strong> <strong>and</strong> the London <strong>and</strong> Whipps Cross provided details on the number of people raisinggrievances by different protected characteristics. It is important to note that the number ofgrievances – <strong>and</strong> therefore the sample size the figures below are based on – are relativelysmall: 20 grievances for <strong>Barts</strong> <strong>and</strong> the London <strong>and</strong> 17 for Whipps Cross.3.5.1 AgeWithin <strong>Barts</strong> <strong>and</strong> the London, it appears that employees aged 35-39 are significantly morelikely to raise grievances than the Trust profile might suggest (the group raising 25% of allgrievances despite being 16% of the workforce). Those in the 25-29 age group only raise 5%of grievances comprising 16% of the workforce. See figure 3.5.1a overleaf.60
