3 Technical description3.1.4 Thermal insulation and sound insulationThermal insulationAll floor standing condensing boilers have highly effectivethermal insulation which fully encloses the boiler block.This reduces radiation and standby losses to a minimum.The Logano plus SB745 is fitted at the factory with highlyeffective thermal insulation.Integral sound insulation devicesThe front and rear reversing areas of the Logano plus SB315and SB615 floor standing condensing boilers are designedin such a way that any sound emitted is attenuated. TheLogano plus SB315 and SB615 boilers are designed withan integral reflection area in the rear reversing chamber ofthe hot gas path. An insulating mat to absorb soundemissions is fitted in the front reversing area from thesecond to the third hot gas pass ( fig. 11). The twodesign elements reduce the sound emissions.The Logano plus SB745 has a flue gas silencer integratedinto the flue duct which ensures quiet operation.As standard, all Logano plus SB315 floor standingcondensing boilers have adjustable feet with vibrationabsorbingrubber supports. For the Unit versionsLogano plus SB315 VM and Logano plus SB615 VMwith the Logatop VM premix gas burner from Buderus,further sound insulation measures are not usuallynecessary.For the Logano plus SB745, special sound insulationstrips to reduce structure-borne noise are supplied asstandard. For all other floor standing condensing boilers,boiler supports to reduce structure-borne noise are alsoavailable as accessories.Additional measuresThe sound level permitted around the installation roommust be checked in each individual case.
