1 Buderus condensing systems1 Buderus condensing systems1.1 Types and heating outputIn the output range from 11 kW to 19,200 kW, Buderusoffers a full spectrum of wall mounted and floor standinggas and oil condensing boilers. Proven solutions usingcondensing technology and stainless steel are available inthe output range from 50 kW to 1200 kW with theLogano plus SB315, SB615 and SB745 gas and oilcondensing boilers. These boilers have an internalcondensing heat exchanger and the gas version up to310 kW is sold with an extremely quiet, modulatingpremix gas burner.1.2 Possible applicationsThe Logano plus SB315, SB615 and SB745 floorstanding gas and oil condensing boilers are suitable for allheating systems to DIN EN 12828.They are used in applications including central heatingand DHW heating in apartment buildings, communal andcommercial buildings, to heat commercial nurseries andfor indirect swimming pool heating.Due to their open flue operating mode, it isnot permissible to install them in living spacewhere people spend time ( page 76).1.3 Features and benefits• Highly flexibleThe Logano plus SB315 and SB615 floor standingcondensing boilers are available as special versions foruse with gas or gas/oil.The Logano plus SB745 is only available as a floorstanding gas/oil condensing boiler.• High seasonal efficiency [to DIN]The Logano plus SB315 and SB615 floor standinggas and oil condensing boilers represent toptechnology in energy utilisation with seasonal efficiency[to DIN] of up to 109 % for gas and 104 % for oil.The Logano plus SB745 achieves an even higherseasonal efficiency [to DIN] of up to 110 % for gas or105 % for oil.• High condensation rateThe condensing p heating surface provides an optimumarea for heat transfer and a very high condensationrate.• High operational reliabilityAll parts that come into contact with hot gas andcondensate are made from high grade stainless steel.• Environmentally responsible with low emissionsThe 3-pass design of the SB315 and SB615, thedesign of the SB745 with burnout combustionchamber, and the water-cooled combustion chamberoffer ideal conditions for clean operation, especially inconjunction with burners that are matched to the boiler.Floor standing condensing boilers with theLogatop VM premix gas burner from Buderus up to310 kW have extremely low pollutant and soundemissions. The factory-set burner operates very quietly,uses little power, and furthermore reduces thecommissioning time since adjustments on site areusually unnecessary.• Integral sound insulationFor quieter operation, all floor standing boilers aredesigned to reduce sound emissions to a minimum.In addition, special sound insulation strips are includedin the standard delivery of the SB745.• Installation even where space is tightThe floor standing boilers have a compact constructionand can therefore be installed without difficulty even insmall rooms. For Logano plus SB315 VM, themaximum installation height is 1.22 m; forLogano plus SB615 it is 1.73 m, and forLogano plus SB745 it is 2.05 m.• Simple system technologyAs there are no special requirements for operation,it is simple and straightforward to connect theLogano plus SB315, SB615 and SB745 floorstanding condensing boilers to the heating system.This reduces the investment and operating costs.• Matching system technologyFor all boiler designs, there are numerous matchingcomponents which enable an optimised overall system.• Easy maintenance and cleaningThe Logano plus SB315, SB615 and SB745 floorstanding condensing boilers have generously sizedinspection apertures.
