Condensate drain1111.2.3 Neutralising agentFill the neutralising system with neutralising granulate( tab. 55). Through contact between the condensateand the neutralising agent, the condensate pH value willbe raised to between 6.5 and 10. At this pH value, theneutralised condensate can be introduced into thedomestic waste water system. How long one filling ofgranulate remains effective depends on the amount ofcondensate and the neutralising system. Replace thespent neutralising granulate when the pH value of theneutralised condensate falls below 6.5.FloorstandinggascondensingboilerNeutralising systemNeutralising system NE 2.0A self-monitoring device is integrated in neutralising systemNE 2.0. When the “granulate change” indicator lights up,the granulate must be replaced within one month.11.2.4 Pump output graphThe head of the condensate pump is determined by thevolume of condensate. The graph in fig. 66 shows thehead of neutralising systems NE 1.1 and NE 2.0 subjectto the pump rate. Installthese between the condensate drain pipe from the floorstanding oil condensing boiler and the connection to thepublic sewage system.Site the neutralising system behind or adjacent to the floorstanding oil condensing boiler. To enable the condensateto drain freely, install the neutralising system at the sameheight as the floor standing oil condensing boiler.
