FONTARGEN E 903Carbon electrode for gouging and cutting all industrial metals by the arc-compressed-airprocess.Characteristics / Applications:Carbon electrode for economical gouging and cutting. Back-gouging of weld roots toallow welding on the reverse side of weld joints, gouging out cracks, cutting materialswhich cannot be cut by fuel-gas cutting processes. Parting off or gouging of all metalswhich can be melted by an electric arc. Exceptionally suitable for use on unalloyed, lowandhigh alloyed steels, aluminium and aluminium alloys. The high heat conductivity ofcopper and copper alloys must be taken into consideration when dealing with thesematerials. Therefore, preheating of the material is recommended.
