There are 67acupuncture points on either side of the bodyone of the twelve regular meridians which begins onthe plantar tip of the small toe and travels to yongquan(KI1) in the center of the sole, continues along themedial side of the lower limb to the symphysis pubis,turns internally to the kidney and bladder, and back tothe symphysis pubis, ascending along the abdomenand chest up to shufu (KI27) in the depression betweenthe first rib and the lower border of the clavicle, with27 acupuncture points on either side1.4.18pericardium meridian(PC)手 厥 陰 心 包 經one of the twelve regular meridians which originates inthe center of the thorax, connects with the pericardium,and descends to the lower abdomen, linking all thethree energizers. The thoracic branch exits superficiallyat tianchi (PC1) near the nipple, and descends alongthe midline of anterior side of the arm to zhongchong(PC9) at the midpoint of the tip of the middle finger,with 9 acupuncture points on either side
