About the Graduate SchoolMISSION STATEMENTUMUC’s Graduate School <strong>of</strong> Managementand Technology prepares students foreffective leadership and citizenship in aglobal environment characterized by workforcediversity, increasing competition, andtechnological innovation. Programs aredesigned to extend educational access toadult students through multiple formats.The Graduate School strives for excellencein the quality <strong>of</strong> programs <strong>of</strong>fered and innovativedelivery formats. Its goal is to becomeone <strong>of</strong> the premiere worldwide graduateinstitutions <strong>of</strong> choice among studentsand faculty.ACADEMIC PROGRAMSUMUC’s graduate degrees are designed toprovide a career-focused curriculum. Many<strong>of</strong> the programs <strong>of</strong>fer an opportunity for furtherspecialization within the general field.The Graduate School <strong>of</strong> Management andTechnology currently <strong>of</strong>fers 15 graduatedegree programs, including a doctor <strong>of</strong>management program, more than 30 specializations,and more than 30 certificateprograms. Students can also enroll in one<strong>of</strong> 13 dual degree programs, which enablestudents to acquire two graduate degreesfor substantially fewer credits than wouldbe required if the two degrees were earnedseparately. Most <strong>of</strong> these programs areavailable online, so students can pursuetheir degrees from anywhere in the world.Through Executive Programs, the GraduateSchool also <strong>of</strong>fers the Master <strong>of</strong> BusinessAdministration degree and a Chief Infor-mation Officer certificate program in a formatgeared to pr<strong>of</strong>essionals with more thanfive years <strong>of</strong> management experience. Oldenburg has held MDE facultymeetings, contributing to the development<strong>of</strong> a globally distributed faculty for thisdegree program.5
