'Resolution of the City of Jersey City, N.J.City Clerk File No. Res. 09-900Agenda No.10.Z.3Approved: OCT 2 8 2009TITLE:00 i:~PORATP s'tRESOLUTION REMOVING A RESTRICTION FROM THE DEEDOF CONVEYANCE THAT AFFECTS BLOCK 1925 LOT 44.BADDRESS 18-20 PARK STREET JERSEY CITY, NEW JERSEYCOUNCILfollowing resolution:offered and moved adoption of theWHEREAS, the City of Jersey City on March 19, 2003 sold the above propertnot needed for public use to: 140 Grant Avenue Associates, L.L.C. ;and,WHEREAS, the conditions of sale set forth that the purchaser renovated thepropert and obtain a Certificate of Occupancy; and,WHEREAS, on Januar 23,2004, the Municipal Council ofa Deed to the owner ofthe City of Jersey City releasedthe propert with the express condition that no purchaser without the expressconsent ofthe Muncipal Council by Resolution, be permitted to sell, conveyor otherwse transferthe propert before all the conditions of sale are fully completed; and,WHEREAS, the Construction Official, Raymond Meyer has signed and issued aCertificate of Continued Occupancy on Block 1925 Lot 44.B also known as 18-20 Park Streetindicating that the propert was renovated in compliance with condition of sale which wasadopted by the Muncipal on Februar Ii, 2003.WHEREAS, in accordance with State Law in order for this Resolution to be recorded inthe Hudson CQunty Register's Office it must contain an acknowledgment.NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Municipal Council that:1. The City finds and declares that all the terms and conditions of sale contained inthe Resolution adopted by the governg body of the City of Jersey City on Februar II, 2003have been complied with.2. Block 1925 Lot 44.B Address 18-20 Park Street is hereby released from any and allrestrctions.3.
