The studywas realized by means of the interview survey aimed at collecting data, and both quantitativeand descriptive methodology was employed for the results analysis. The studyreveals that all respondents construct Personal Learning Environments with both digitaland traditional components. In student-respondents' PLEs the one of the most significantelements was the computer-mediated communication, while the teacherrespondents'PLEs contained a powerful feature of search of the online educationalcontent with further application in formal learning courses.The theoretical part of the chapter provides a brief outline of the concept of the PersonalLearning Environment, describes its assets, theoretical pedagogical foundationsand technical solutions for its integration into the formal learning process.78
