IVDATA ANALYSISIntroductionThe study aimed at investigating the effect of using concept maps onachieving English grammar among ninth graders in Gaza governorate.This chapter includes the statistical treatment of the groups′ results and dataanalysis as well as its statistical significance .T -test and Mann-WhitneyTest in addition to mean . Standard Deviation and "t" value, Eta square"η 2 ", tests were used to test the hypotheses of the study .4.1 Data analysis1- The first hypothesisThere are no statistically significant differences at ( α ≤ 0.05 )betweenachieving English grammar by using concept mapping in experimentalgroup and achieving English grammar by the traditional method in thecontrol one .To investigate the second hypothesis , mean and standard deviation ofthe experimental and control groups ′ results were computed . ( T -test ) wasused to measure the significant of differences .115
