Thisdirectory holds the queue manager persistent queuedata and is typically located in /var/mqm/qmgrs withthe name of the queue manager as subdirectory name.The exact location of this directory is specified in theglobal mqs.ini configuration file.<strong>WebSphere</strong> <strong>MQ</strong> queue manager log directory. Thisdirectory holds the queue manager log data and istypically located in /var/mqm/log with the queuemanager name as subdirectory. The exact location ofthis directory is specified in the queue managerconfiguration file (QMDIR/qm.ini).The operating system user running all <strong>WebSphere</strong><strong>MQ</strong> commands. This user is the owner of theQMDIR. The user must be a member of the<strong>MQ</strong>GROUP administrative group mqm (see below).The operating system user group that the <strong>MQ</strong>USERmust be part of.
