Changes in demand and pump status,for instance, are normally easy for scheduling programs to deal with, however pipe burstscan present much greater difficulties. This is an important area where the KBS approach isexpected to have major advantages over the traditional programming methods, because ithas the potential to be able to handle unplanned changes in connectivity.
