168 WATER TREATMENT3 LDA RESULTS AND ANALYSISTangential velocity profiles have been measured inside the separation chamber at threelocations along the x axis and for two inlet velocities. The results are shown on Fig. 4 and 5.The main conclusions which can be drawn from this results are following:– Swirl decay is an important phenomena which affects the flow field both near the wall andin the core of the vortex.
