13: Markup from File
The following are brief descriptions of the numbered items from Figure 13-6. (Note
that the Markup from File specification editor does not have an Output Options panel
because the tool does not create an output file; it adds markings to the input file.)
1. File to Get Events From. This is the file with mark-up events that you wish to
import into Net Station. The file must be in one of the three mark-up formats
described on page 104: Event Export, Persyst CSV, or Markup from File. When you
use the file selector to choose the file, the tool automatically extracts the following
information:
• Name: file name
• Type: Event Export, Persyst CSV, or Markup from File format
• Status: “no errors” or an error message
• # of Events: the number of events in the file
