17: Segmentation<br />
When you select Before, After, or Anywhere, the Distance Between Sets and Event To<br />
Select panes appear.<br />
The following are brief descriptions <strong>of</strong> the numbered items from Figure 17-19.<br />
1. Temporal relationship bar. Clicking this bar displays the temporal relationship<br />
pane(2). The bar has diagonal stripes with rounded ends to indicate that the criteria<br />
sets are separated, but position is relevant.<br />
2. Temporal relationship pane with After button. Clicking this button displays four<br />
icons for defining the positions <strong>of</strong> Criteria Sets 1 and 2. Table 17-9 describes the icons.<br />

Onset <strong>of</strong> Criteria Set 2 is after onset <strong>of</strong> Criteria Set 1.<br />

Onset <strong>of</strong> Criteria Set 2 is after <strong>of</strong>fset <strong>of</strong> Criteria Set 1.<br />
Offset <strong>of</strong> Criteria Set 2 is after <strong>of</strong>fset <strong>of</strong> Criteria Set 1.<br />
