19: Statistic Extraction<br />

The purpose <strong>of</strong> this pane is to allow you to specify the channel groups parameter for<br />

an analysis. You do this by dragging montages from the Montage list to the Channel<br />

Groups pane <strong>of</strong> an Analysis specification.<br />

Note that only channel selection information from montages is used by Statistic<br />

Extraction. Information related to reference channels is ignored. If the reference<br />

channel information is required, you must rereference the data first using the<br />

Montage Operations tool.<br />

Figure 19-8 shows the components <strong>of</strong> this pane.<br />

The following are brief descriptions <strong>of</strong> the numbered items from Figure 19-8.<br />

1. Sensor Layout pop-up menu. Lists the EGI source <strong>Net</strong>s. You can select a <strong>Net</strong> to<br />

display its available montages in the Montage list (2).<br />

2. Montage list. Displays the list <strong>of</strong> montages for the <strong>Net</strong> selected in the Sensor<br />

Layout pop-up menu (1). To specify the channel groups parameter for an analysis,<br />

you can drag montages from this list to the Channel Groups pane <strong>of</strong> an Analysis<br />

specification.<br />
