Aus Pixeln gebaute Fabelwesen bewohnen
fantastische Welten, Flugsimulatoren lassen
uns schweben wie Vögel: Die Ausstellung im
Zürcher Museum für Gestaltung gibt Einblick
in die vielschichtigen Welten der Animation
im digitalen Zeitalter. Das Thema ist aktueller
denn je, nehmen doch 3D-Filme, Computerspiele
oder interaktive tragbare Objekte immer
wichtigere Rollen in unserem Leben ein.
Beeindruckend: die Arbeit «Flight Patterns»
des amerikanischen Künstlers Aaron Koblin,
welche alle Flugbewegungen über Nordamerika
in Farbe und Form visualisiert.
Mystical creatures made of pixels inhabit
fantastic worlds, simulators make us fly like
birds: the new exhibition at Zurich’s Museum
für Gestaltung allows a glimpse into the
multilayered world of animation in our digital
age. With 3D films, computer games and interactive
portable devices playing an ever-growing
part in our lives, the subject is more topical
than ever. Impressive: Aaron Koblin’s “Flight
Patterns”. In the video installation, the American
artist managed to visualise colour and shape
of flight patterns over North America.

Hauger beeindrucken durch ihre
bizarre Dramatik und wirken
fast hyperrealistisch. «Beim Fotografieren
im Gebirge lasse ich
mich intensiv auf die Landschaft
ein, werde Teil des Ganzen.
Mich fasziniert das Wechselspiel
zwischen Hell und Dunkel,
Dramatik und Harmonie, Ruhe
und Bewegung, Natur und Zivil i­
sation, Fotografie und Kunst.»
40 ihrer einzigartigen Kompositionen
zwischen Himmel und
Erde sind ab Mitte November in
der Bromer Art Collection
in Roggwil bei Bern zu sehen.
The mountain panoramas

Hauger seem bizarrely dramatic,
almost hyperrealistic. “When
photographing in the mountains,
I immerse myself entirely and
become one with my surroundings.
What fascinates me is the interaction
between light and shadow,
turmoil and harmony, calm and
motion, nature and civilisation,
photog raphy and art.” Forty of her
unique compositions between
earth and heaven can be admired
in the Bromer Art Collection in
Roggwil near Bern, opening mid-
November.
