aufgeregt – es lief aber bestens!»

Joe Cocker, invited us to a jam
session. We were pretty nervous –
but everything went just fine!”
Gab es auch negative Erlebnisse?
M.: Die Hobos [umherziehende Gelegenheitsarbeiter,
Anm. d. R.] in San Francisco waren nicht gerade
erfreut über unsere Aktion.
G.: Ein bisschen dreist waren wir ja schon: Wir haben
einfach ihr Revier betreten, um zu filmen.
Logisch, fanden sie das eher uncool!
A.: Wir wollten solche Grenzen jedoch bewusst austesten.
Als sie dann realisierten, dass wir nicht vom
Fernsehen waren, war alles wieder in Ordnung. –
Zwischen uns herrschte teilweise schlechte Stimmung.
Wir waren ständig zusammen unterwegs –
in einem kleinen Auto. Ich mit vier Typen! Das ist
schon anstrengend, ja! Etwas richtig Schlimmes ist
zum Glück aber nie passiert.
M.: Doch, einmal hätten wir fast einen Hasen überfahren!
Inwiefern habt ihr euch auf der grossen Reise
besser kennengelernt?
A.: Einmal mehr habe ich realisiert, dass wir drei
wie eine Familie sind. Wir verstehen uns ohne Worte,
wissen ziemlich genau, was der andere denkt. Für

M.: The hobos in San Francisco weren’t exactly
thrilled by our performance.
G.: Well, we were a bit over the top: we simply pushed
our way into their territory to film our video. So it’s
not surprising that they weren’t exactly over the
moon!
A.: But we were deliberately trying to test those sorts
of boundaries. As soon as they realised we weren’t
from the TV, everything was fine again. – We didn’t
get along amongst ourselves all of the time. We were
constantly on the road – in a small car. Four guys and
me! That can be quite a strain! But fortunately, nothing
really bad ever happened.
M.: Yes it did: one time, we nearly ran over a rabbit!
In what ways did you get to know one another
better during your big trip?
A.: I realised once again that we are a family. We all
know what each one of us is thinking without needing
to speak. I feel I have to stress again and again
that although the band might be called Anna Rossinelli,
it takes all three of us to make it work.
