Sequoia Grove<br />
Sequoia Grove is a family-owned winery founded in 1979, in a 110-<br />
year old barn beneath a grove of Sequoia trees in Rutherford, Napa<br />
Valley. It is here where they have honed their craft of creating worldclass<br />
Cabernet Sauvignon and other Napa Valley wines that emphasize<br />
elegance, finesse, structure and balance. Their consistent philosophy<br />
of making wines <strong>with</strong> varietal character that are reflective of the<br />
land helped establish Sequoia Grove as one of the premier Cabernet<br />
Sauvignon pro<strong>du</strong>cers in Napa Valley. Their 24-acre Estate Vineyard<br />
and 50-acre Tonella Ranch Vineyard are both located in the heart of<br />
Rutherford, where the superb climate and gravelly-loam soils impart<br />
distinct flavor in the Bordeaux varieties.<br />
Molly Hill<br />
Molly Hill is the Winemaker for Sequoia Grove Winery in Rutherford,<br />
California and oversees all winemaking and pro<strong>du</strong>ction operations<br />
as well as helping <strong>with</strong> grower relations and recommendations in the<br />
vineyards. Molly gra<strong>du</strong>ated <strong>with</strong> a bachelor of science in Viticulture and<br />
Enology from UC Davis and a minor in Spanish. Having been at Sequoia<br />
Grove since 2003, and being promoted to winemaker in 2008, she has<br />
crafted many new wines there, including the inaugural vintage of the<br />
icon wine Cambium. Molly lives <strong>with</strong> her winemaking-husband and<br />
two young children in Calistoga.<br />
