Thank you for joining us to celebrate
this year’s Dallas Côtes du Coeur Fine
Wine Auction and Celebrity Chef
Dinner. The Dallas community—
and people like you—are making a
positive difference in North Texas,
and your dedication and generosity
is inspiring.
Now in its 26 th year, Côtes du Coeur has raised more than $30 million
on behalf of the American Heart Association. Your support continues
that proud legacy and furthers our mission to prevent, treat and cure
cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
I am grateful to our 2017 Côtes du Coeur Chairs, Kelly and David Pfeil;
to Barbara Smith, the chair of our Executive Leadership Team; and to
our entire Executive Committee, for planning this evening’s program.
Tonight, Richard Chamberlain, considered one of America’s
leading chefs, and 18 celebrity chefs will artfully prepare culinary
masterpieces paired with selections from 30 world-renowned
wineries, including our Tête du Cuvée Honoree, Merry Edwards of
Merry Edwards Vineyards.
