you have embraced the challenge of building healthier lives, free of
cardiovascular diseases and stroke. You, our supporters, have been the
driving force enabling groundbreaking advances in such areas as research,
tobacco control, quality and availability of care, chain of survival and
obesity prevention, as well as heart disease and stroke prevention.
Now, more than ever, the American Heart Association has a sense of
urgency to move the mission forward. Please join us as we make medical
history, increasing the pace of science focused on our mission…only then
can we hope to understand and prevent cardiovascular diseases and
stroke.
The funds we raise through Open Your Heart this evening go directly to
fund research, education, awareness and prevention initiatives with the
direct goal of treating, and preventing cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
We are not only helping those who currently suffer–but funding research
that will ensure a healthier future for our next generations.

• Auctioneers Wendy & Doak Lambert will call out funding levels at
$50,000; $25,000; $15,000; $10,000; $5,000; $2,500, $1,000 and $500.
• Simply raise your bid card high when you hear the amount at which
you wish to make a purely philanthropic, tax-deductible contribution
to the American Heart Association’s vital mission.
