The company released its first wines to market in January 2006; pro<strong>du</strong>ced<br />
in limited quantities, the business is scaling according to its long-term<br />
plan <strong>with</strong> pro<strong>du</strong>ction levels expected to top-out at 15,000 cases annually.<br />
B Cellars commenced operations at its new purpose-built winery in<br />
September 2014. Situated on the Oakville Cross Road—Oakville is<br />
considered Napa Valley’s epicenter of premium Cabernet. This landmark<br />
address puts the B Cellars brand in the company of many established<br />
names that have become synonymous <strong>with</strong> Napa’s most noteworthy<br />
addresses such as Far Niente, Nickel & Nickel, Opus One, Silver Oak<br />
Cellars, Groth, Rudd and Gargiulo to name a few.<br />
Duffy Keys<br />
Duffy is an accomplished executive whose 20+ years tenure <strong>with</strong> Four<br />
Seasons Hotels and Resorts provided him the platform to engage in<br />
a broad range of experiences and business development activities<br />
involving both the hotel management company and its branded<br />
residential business. During his time <strong>with</strong> the company, Four Seasons<br />
experienced explosive growth and successfully achieved a dominant<br />
position as the premiere global brand in the luxury-lodging category. In<br />
2003, together <strong>with</strong> his business partner, Jim Borsack, Duffy co-founded<br />
B Cellars Winery, a boutique California wine venture pro<strong>du</strong>cing some of<br />
Napa Valley’s finest wines.<br />
Duffy’s background brings together a powerful combination of skills<br />
that leverages the benefits of a disciplined corporate structure at Four<br />
Seasons together <strong>with</strong> the flexibility and creativity required of him as<br />
an entrepreneur. From his experience at Four Seasons to his Napa Valley<br />
wine business, he has embraced a business philosophy whose values are<br />
framed by the “Golden Rule.”<br />
He and his wife Judy enjoy the best of both worlds sharing time at their<br />
home in Rancho Santa Fe, California and in Saint Helena, a community<br />
close to their Oakville winery.<br />
