Omni Dallas Hotel<br />
Chef Donald Chalko started his career at<br />
the prestigious Mansion on Turtle Creek<br />
<strong>with</strong> Chef Dean Fearing at the helm. He<br />
quickly worked his way up the ranks before<br />
moving on to his next challenge, the AAA<br />
Five Diamond French Room at The Adolphus<br />
Hotel. From there, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, and helped open<br />
the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas. Chalko was a key player in helping<br />
that hotel achieve Five Diamond/Five Star Status in the first year of<br />
operation. In 2011, Chef Chalko returned to Dallas as the executive<br />
sous chef of the Omni Dallas Hotel and has recently accepted the<br />
position of executive chef for Omni Dallas Hotel.<br />
Chalko gra<strong>du</strong>ated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas <strong>with</strong><br />
a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts and Visual Arts. He is<br />
married to Darby Chalko and has a daughter, Greer Ryan.<br />
