Silent Auction Proce<strong>du</strong>res<br />

The silent auction will open at 6:00 pm and lots will be closed by surprise<br />

throughout the evening. Advance warning may or may not be given.<br />

Each package will contain a minimum requirement for bid increases; this<br />

increment is pre-set. Failure to comply <strong>with</strong> the minimum increase will result in<br />

the elimination of your bid.<br />

Winning bidders will receive a text of the packages they won. Approximately<br />

thirty minutes after a section closes winning bidders will have the opportunity<br />

to pay and collect their lots.<br />

Please pay and take possession of all purchased lots at the end of the evening.<br />

Any lots that are not picked up at the end of the evening could be charged for a<br />

storage and/or delivery fee.<br />

Personal checks and credit cards (American Express, Visa, Discover and<br />

MasterCard) are accepted.<br />

NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED.<br />

Payment and Pick-Up<br />

Proce<strong>du</strong>res<br />

You may pay for your Live Auction purchase(s) anytime after the auction closes. If<br />

your purchase(s) is part of the Bid Boards or Silent Auction, you will need to wait<br />

30 minutes after that section closes before paying. When you are ready to pay for<br />

and pick up your purchase(s), please follow these steps:<br />

1. Please go to Check-Out/Cashier Services located at the front of the foyer of the<br />

Dallas Ballroom.<br />

2. Present your bidder number, verify your purchase(s) and pay for them. The<br />

American Heart Association accepts checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover or<br />

American Express.<br />

3. You will receive a receipt for your purchase.<br />

4. Take your receipt to the Pick-Up area located in the front of the foyer of<br />

the Dallas Ballroom next to Check-Out/Cashier Services. Here you will<br />

inspect your purchase, sign that you have received your purchase and take<br />

possession of your items.<br />

5. All auction items must be picked up by midnight or on April 23, <strong>2017</strong><br />

between 9:00am and 11:00 am.<br />

6. Courier service may be purchased for $250. This service may be used for all<br />

purchases made by buyers living in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The<br />

American Heart Association assumes no responsibility for items lost or<br />

injured in the delivery process.<br />

7. All purchases in excess of $10,000 are eligible for free delivery, courtesy of<br />

Delivery Limited. This service may be used for qualifying purchases made by<br />

buyers living in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. $10,000 liability per delivery.<br />

The American Heart Association assumes no responsibility for items lost or<br />

injured in the delivery process.<br />
