IFU: Gastroesophageal reflux
disease
Action: decreases the amount of
acid produced in the stomach.
Dosage: 20 mg (capsule)
Route: P.O.
Adverse Reaction: dizziness,
confusion; fast or uneven heart
rate, jerking muscle movements,
jittery feeling, diarrhea that is
watery or bloody, muscle cramps,
muscle weakness or limp feeling,
cough or choking feeling; or,
seizure (convulsions).
Interactions: Esomeprazole:
Combining these medications
may reduce the effectiveness of
clopidogrel in preventing heart
attack or stroke.
