Classification: Tricyclic
IFU: Allergy , prevent motion
sickness.
Action: blocks the action of
acetylcholine (anticholinergic
effect), and this may explain its
benefit in reducing the nausea of
motion sickness.
Dosage: 25 mg; 12.5 mg;
Route: P.O
Adverse Reaction: dizziness,
drowsiness, anxiety, blurred
vision, dry mouth, stuffy nose,
ringing in your ears, weight gain,
swelling in your hands or feet,
impotence, trouble having an
orgasm; or, constipation.
Interactions: Bupropion:
Combining these medications
may increase the risk of seizures,
which may occur rarely with
either medication.
