Classification: Bronchodilators.
IFU: Prevent exercise-induced
bronchospasm.
Action: relaxes muscles in the
airways and increases airflow to
the lungs.
Dosage: 90 mcg
Route: Inhaler, P.O.
Adverse Reaction: Nervousness,
shaking (tremor), palpitations,
headache, mouth/throat dryness
or irritation, cough, hoarseness,
and sore throat,
Interactions: Advair Diskus and
Albuterol: Using albuterol
together with salmeterol may
increase cardiovascular side
effects such as elevations in
heart rate and blood pressure or
irregular heart rhythm.
