Megaİzo Lastik 3 Hydrophobic Impregnated, UV Resistant, Ready To Use Waterproofing Material 62 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Silane and siloxane based, UV resistant, water based, ready to use, hydrophobic impregnated waterproofing material. AREAS OF USE Megaİzo Lastik 3 is recommended to be used to prevent the sealing problems that may arise due to capillary cracks in the joint fillings of terraces and balconies, natural rock coated floors, walls and floors covered with clay and bricks, any concrete surfaces and floors. It is suitable for use on horizontal and vertical surfaces of indoors and outdoors spaces. PRODUCT ADVANTAGES • Penetrates into the capillary cracks on the application surfaces thanks to its impregnated nature and ensures waterproofing. • Does not form a film layer and enables the surface to wind. • UV resistant. • A ready to use product, and is applied easily and rapidly. • Free from solvents, and environmentally friendly. CE APPLICATION PROCEDURE Application Surfaces Indoors and Outdoors Walls; - Ceramic - Natural rock - Clay - Brick - Concrete Indoors and Outdoors Floors; - Ceramic - Natural rock - Clay - Brick - Concrete Surface Preparation • Application surfaces should be sound, clean, dust free, and free from molding oils and other foreign substances. Such materials as mortar and cement residues should be peeled off. Application Methods • Megaİzo Lastik 3, being a ready to use product, should be applied on the surface in double coat with a brush or a roller. • The secondary coat should be applied immediately after the completion of the primary coat without any stand by period. Application Recommendations • In order for the maintenance of the water repellant nature of the material, the application is recommended to be repeated in every 2 years, depending on the extent of the wear and tear. • In order to prevent any stain residues on the coating material after the application in the case of surfaces with poorly water absorption (ceramic, porcelain, granite); the surface should be wiped with a moist cleaning cloth or sponge within 10 to 15 minutes following the application, during which the cloth or sponge used should be replaced frequently. • The product should not be applied against negative water pressure. • The product should be used before the expiration of its pot life. Any product, the pot life of which has expired, should not be used during the application. • Megaİzo Lastik 3 is a ready to use product. Any foreign material should not be added into the product during the application. • The product should not be applied on unsound surfaces. The soundness and the load bearing capacity of old surfaces should be checked prior to adhesion. • The surface should be preserved from air currents and water contact during and after the application. • The product should not be applied to such surfaces, which are exposed to risk of freezing within the next 24 hours, which are frozen or the frost of which is thawing. • Due care should be given to prevent the exposure of the material to direct sunlight in hot weather conditions. • The product should not be applied on extremely windy weather conditions or on hot surfaces, which are exposed to direct sunlight; and in the cases, where application is imperative under such conditions, the environment and the surface should be prepared for application in advance. • The product should not be applied in rainy weather conditions, and the application surface should be preserved from rain for a period of 24 hours. • Refer to our technical support hotline for recommendation on different surface applications.
