PIXEL/COLUMN FILTER PCB ADJUSTMENTS<br />

This adjustment is for systems that have the Pixel/Column Filter PCB on the camera<br />

assembly. The adjustments are performed to correct for any shading differences that<br />

appear as “columns” in the image.<br />

Procedure<br />

1. Verify the Monitor Test Pattern is removed by pressing ESC four times.<br />

2. Set switch SW2 (coarse pixel adjustment - 1 pixel steps) on the Pixel/Column Filter<br />

PCB, as shown in Figure 34, to match the switch SW2 (horizontal centering) setting<br />

on the CCD camera.<br />

3. Set switch SW1 (fine pixel adjustment - 1/2 pixel steps) on the Pixel/Column Filter<br />

PCB to its nominal setting of 8.<br />

4. Setup the system as follows:<br />

• MANUAL FLUORO mode at 50 kV and 2.5 mA<br />

• 1 copper filter in the beam<br />

• MAG2 field size<br />

• Adjust window to a value between 50-60<br />

• Adjust level to a value between 60-80 until there is a gray field on the left monitor
