Older Style<br />

The older <strong>9600</strong> Series IR Remote Control will display the following<br />

codes when each button is pressed during the diagnostic test.<br />

Mode Select = 20 Averaging Select = 28<br />

Reset Alarm = 5 Image Dir = 4<br />

Recall = 10 Zoom = 25<br />

Sharpen = 2 Norm/Mag = 17<br />

Rotate CW = 1 Rotate CCW = 9<br />

Open = 16 Close = 24<br />

Open = 0 Close = 8<br />

5. Press the ENTER switch on the transmitter.<br />

6. Verify that the X and Y axis values are displayed.<br />

7. Verify that the X and Y axis values change when the direction (arrows) switches on<br />

the transmitter are pressed.<br />

NOTE: The UP/DOWN switches decrease and increase (respectively) the Y axis<br />

values and the LEFT/RIGHT switches decrease and increase (respectively)<br />

the X axis values.<br />

9. Exit the front panel tests and escape out of Level 2 Diagnostics by pressing<br />

ENTER.<br />

10. Take an exposure to obtain a new image on the left monitor.<br />

11. Press the ZOOM switch on the Workstation. The region of interest (ROI) window<br />

should appear within the left monitor image.<br />

12. Press and hold the IR receiver direction switches and verify that the ROI window<br />

can be moved around on the left monitor image. The ROI should begin moving<br />

slowly and increase in speed.<br />

NOTE: Before any repairs are done, Field Service personnel are reminded to note<br />

the elapsed time on the Field Service Report from the system Elapsed Time<br />

Indicator. It is important that this time be reported in each instance.
