4 Workstation Control<br />

FRONT PANEL<br />

The following functions are controlled from the Front Panel Switches:<br />

• Averaging<br />

• Fluoro<br />

• One-shot<br />

• Enhanced One-shot(Digital Spot)<br />

• Recall<br />

• Save<br />

• LR<br />

This panel cannot be repaired in the field. If problems arise, it must be replaced. The<br />

defective panel should be sent to the factory for repair. Refer to the Illustrated Parts<br />

Manual for part numbers.<br />

Diagnostics are included in the system software that allow testing of the front panel<br />

controls.<br />

KEYBOARD<br />

The QWERTY Keyboard is similar to the keyboard used on a computer, but contains<br />

specially labeled keys that control system functions. The alpha-numeric keys are used<br />

for patient annotation and system control. A drawing of the QWERTY keyboard is<br />

contained in the System Overview section of the manual.<br />

This keyboard cannot be repaired in the field. If problems arise, it must be replaced. The<br />

defective keyboard should be sent to the factory for repair. Refer to the Illustrated Parts<br />

Manual for part numbers.<br />

TRACK PAD<br />

The Track Pad contains function keys for control of system operations, along with a<br />

force-sensitive-resistor array (FSR) analog interface that acts as an electronic trackball.<br />

Drawings of the Track Pad Panels are contained in the System Overview section of the<br />

manual.<br />

This panel cannot be repaired in the field. If problems arise, it must be replaced. The<br />

defective panel should be sent to the factory for repair. Refer to the Illustrated Parts<br />

Manual for part numbers.<br />

The Track Pad Panel contains buttons which control specific system operations. A<br />

pressure-sensitive Track Pad is used to control cursor movement on the monitor<br />

screens. Diagnostics are included in the system software that allow testing of the<br />

TrackPad panel.
